Not long after, their performance was also criticized on a news and political podcast hosted by American journalist Megyn Kelly.

After getting ridiculed on BBC live TV, another TV show criticized BTS for their horrible performance.

Both the lip-syncing and dancing look like a college boy band imitating BTS to me. See, the acrobats around them are doing a good job. The actual band, look at how they’re phoning in on even the motions. This is no Michael Jackson at the Super Bowl. Look at them, they look tired.
— Megyn Kelly

However, fans expressed divided reactions to her response.

Fanwars aside this gotta be one of the most embarrassing shit ever 😭 https://t.co/drTdqiVG2q

I don’t like this woman but i find it ironic how bts fans were hyping her up when she made remarks about lisa before only to turn around and condemn her when she dragged their faves
