Red Velvet Announces Highly Anticipated Full-Group Comeback for August

Exciting news for fans of the beloved K-pop group Red Velvet! The sensational girl group is officially gearing up for a full-group comeback.

Reports first emerged on June 11 from Sports Chosun, indicating that Red Velvet is in the midst of preparing a brand new album with a target release set for August. SM Entertainment has since confirmed these reports, stating, "Red Velvet is preparing for a full-group comeback with the aim of returning in August." The agency added, "We ask for your continued interest and anticipation."

This marks Red Velvet's first comeback as a full group in approximately two years and two months, since the release of their 10th-anniversary mini-album "Cosmic" in June 2024. The comeback is also significant as it will be the group's first collective activity since members Wendy and Yeri concluded their exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment and signed with different agencies last year to continue their group endeavors.
