The modern Renault 5, powered by an electric powertrain, takes on a retro look, dressed in a unique livery from the past.

This exclusive edition is a result of a collaboration between Dutch dealer Zeeuw & Zeeuw and Re-Volve, producing only 25 units, available exclusively in the Netherlands.

The standout feature of this special edition is its exterior design, echoing the iconic Clio Williams livery.

The Clio Williams' Midnight Blue paint scheme is complemented by gold accents on the grille, side panels, and rear doors.

The gold accents pay homage to its predecessor's legacy from the 1990s. The gold theme carries over to the 19-inch wheels, showcasing a strong visual connection to the car's rally racing DNA.

The exclusivity of this special edition extends to its interior, where it features black leather and Alcantara upholstery with golden stitching, as well as a commemorative plaque on the center console.

The standard retro-designed bucket seats are a welcome addition, while the iconic 'W' emblem from the Clio Williams has been replaced with a golden '5' numeral.

Unfortunately, the stunning exterior and interior design are let down by its performance. The Renault 5 Monte Carlo Edition is powered by a 121-hp electric motor married to a 40 kWh battery.

This configuration offers a WLTP range of up to 309 km (192 miles) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 9 seconds, with a top speed of 150 km/h (93 mph).

The Renault 5 Monte Carlo Edition will retail for $44,400 (Rp720 million), significantly higher than its standard counterpart, the R5 E-Tech Urban Range Techno.
