Rivaldo and Sorin: From Barcelona Anomalies to Latin American Dominance in the 2026 World Cup

Football legends Rivaldo and Juan Pablo Sorin shared their thoughts on Barcelona's chances in the La Liga title race and their predictions for the 2026 World Cup. Rivaldo, the Brazilian legend, and Sorin, the Argentine star, expressed their confidence in Barcelona's ability to win the La Liga title, citing the team's current form and lead in the standings.

Despite their optimism about Barcelona's chances, both Rivaldo and Sorin acknowledged the challenges the team faces in the Champions League. They emphasized the need for the team to improve its performance in big games and to learn from past mistakes.

The conversation then shifted to the 2026 World Cup, with Rivaldo and Sorin discussing their predictions for the tournament. Rivaldo, who won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002, expressed his confidence in Brazil's chances, citing the team's talented players and experienced coach, Carlo Ancelotti.

Sorin, on the other hand, was more cautious in his assessment of Argentina's chances, emphasizing the importance of the team's preparation and the need for all players to be fit and injury-free. However, he did express his hope that Lionel Messi would be able to enjoy a successful World Cup, which could potentially be his last.
