Rod Stewart has left his fans wondering after he was spotted at the Haiti vs Scotland match, just days after cancelling one of his concerts in the USA.
The legendary singer was in Boston to support Scotland's first World Cup game in 28 years, an event no Scottish fan would want to miss.
This coincided with a series of shows he was scheduled to perform, but after cancelling those, he was seen enjoying the stadium atmosphere.
Stewart was initially set to perform at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre; however, his disappointed fans found out about the cancellation just 45 minutes before he was due to take the stage.
A statement at the time claimed that, on doctor's orders, the 81-year-old had been advised not to perform due to a diagnosis of an acute upper respiratory infection resulting in laryngitis.
Twenty-four hours later, Stewart posted a video on Instagram, surprisingly sounding like he had made a rapid recovery, only to then be spotted cheering on the Tartan Army against Haiti.
Seated alongside his two sons, he addressed his fans on Instagram, saying, 'Here we are flying off to Boston to see Scotland in the World Cup. No Scotland, no party.'
As a well-known football fan and supporter of the Scottish club Celtic, Stewart regularly attends games at Parkhead.
