Ross Colton Makes Impactful Move to the Music City

Ross Colton has been dealt to the Nashville Predators in a significant trade. Here's what it means for the team and their fans. In a deal made in June, the Predators acquired Ross Colton and Isak Posch from Colorado in exchange for Magnus Chrona, a 2026 third-round pick, and a 2027 third-round pick. This move has sent shockwaves through the hockey community, with many wondering what it means for Colton's future with the team. One thing is certain - Colton will suit up for his former Central Division rival in the 2026-27 campaign. This is an exciting development for the Predators, who were in need of forward depth after missing the playoffs once again. With his toughness and physicality, Colton is set to fill the hits gap left behind by Michael McCarron, who was traded away at the 2026 trade deadline. As he takes on this new role, the Nashville crowd will be eagerly watching to see how he fits in. Colton's impressive stats over 73 regular-season games in the 2025-26 season speak for themselves: nine goals, 15 assists, 153 shots on net, 159 hits, and 25 blocked shots. The Predators' front office is clearly optimistic about this acquisition, and fans are hopeful that Colton will be the spark they need to propel the team forward. This trade has sent the hockey world into a frenzy. As the season begins, one thing is clear - the Music City is ready for Ross Colton.
