SEGA Teases Fans with Crazy Taxi Reboot Teaser

Breaking News in One Second

SEGA has got gamers talking again with the latest update on their upcoming project, Crazy Taxi Reboot. According to Gamebrott, the official X account of the game released a short video teaser showing a flashing 'Taxi' logo.

The mysterious post has sparked reactions from fans who have been eagerly waiting for confirmation on this project. Some enthusiasts even shared nostalgic videos of playing the old versions of the game, ranging from the Arcade to console versions.

Crazy Taxi Reboot was first announced three years ago at The Game Awards 2023 hosted by Geoff Keighley. After being dormant for a while, the teaser's release has brought new life to the gaming community.

Rumors suggest that the reboot will feature an open-world concept combined with multiplayer capabilities. Additionally, the game is expected to utilize the Unreal Engine 5 technology.

This modernization move goes hand-in-hand with other SEGA IPs, such as Jet Set Radio, which have also received similar treatments. This development has the potential to be the biggest launch in the history of the franchise.

Crazy Taxi, in particular, has been absent from the global gaming scene for quite some time. The third and final installment of the series, High Roller, was officially released in 2002.
