Sega Unveils New Teaser for Crazy Taxi Reboot on Social Media

Renowned game developer Sega has officially released a mysterious teaser video for the Crazy Taxi Reboot project on their official X account in May 2026.

The short teaser features a blinking 'Taxi' logo, sparking enthusiastic reactions from fans, as reported by Gamebrott.

Several players responded through the comments section, with some even sharing throwback videos of themselves playing the classic game from the arcade era to console.

The Crazy Taxi Reboot project was first announced by Sega three years ago at The Game Awards 2023, hosted by Geoff Keighley.

This legendary 2000s game is rumored to utilize the Unreal Engine 5, along with other classic Sega intellectual properties, such as Jet Set Radio.

The latest development is expected to feature an open-world concept, complete with multiplayer features.

This new project has the potential to be the largest launch in the franchise in over two decades, since Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller was released in 2002.
