Smooth Commutes for the Second Boston Stadium Match

Fans who attended the Iraq-Norway match at Boston Stadium on Tuesday were pleasantly surprised by the smoother MBTA commutes.

Despite initial concerns about gameday traffic, no major issues were reported for the first local weekday World Cup match.

Some fans who traveled to Boston Stadium to watch Iraq take on Norway on Tuesday noted that the MBTA wait times were dramatically shorter than they had anticipated.

One fan described the experience as "amazingly smooth," while others praised the improvement compared to the previous weekend's events.

Additionally, many fans who drove to Foxborough reported that roads near the area were not crowded, thanks in part to MassDOT's contraflow lane and HOV lane deployments.

With the next big test coming up on Friday for the Scotland-Morocco match, fans hope that the improvements will continue.
