The Brand New Day of Spider-Man is Officially Here!

Sony Pictures is pulling out all the stops for the marketing of its highly anticipated film, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". The first public appearance of Tom Holland and Zendaya in Madrid on Monday was met with great enthusiasm from national and international media.

The official Spidey Tracker website has been launched to keep fans up to date on the latest news and photos from the press tour, which will span across multiple cities including Madrid, Shanghai, London, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Paris, Berlin, Rome, and New York.

Madrid marked the kick-off of the tour, and the whirlwind tour will continue in the coming weeks. San Diego will also be a part of the tour as the film has been confirmed to have a panel at next month's San Diego Comic-Con.

The new synopsis for the movie reads: "It's a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn't remember him – and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him – sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn't forgotten them."

The news comes as some promotional material for the film, including the next trailer and some pre-recorded intros, have leaked online in recent days.

The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and also stars Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo. It is set to hit cinemas on July 31st.
