The ENHYPEN Debacle: A Timeline of the Scandal Surrounding EVAN's Solo Debut

The ENHYPEN debacle has left the music industry reeling, with the controversy surrounding EVAN's (Heeseung) solo debut sparking widespread outrage and debate.

On June 22, 2026, EVAN released his solo debut single, with fans and critics alike praising his efforts. However, the celebrations were short-lived, as news broke of trucks parked outside HYBE, the agency representing ENHYPEN, with fans protesting against the group's decision to drop some members.

This decision by the agency, combined with the timing of EVAN's solo debut, has led many to question whether the group and its fans are truly committed to ENHYPEN or if they're just using them as a means to further their own interests. 'Our voices are being heard in Seoul' tweeted one fan, 'ENHYPEN IS SEVEN!'

However, not all fans were pleased with the protest, with some accusing them of being 'selfish' and 'delusional.' 'Sending protest trucks on the day of his solo debut is the most selfish act I've ever seen,' wrote one fan. 'How can you call yourselves his fans or say you love him? This is ridiculous, support his new path or get out.'

The controversy surrounding ENHYPEN has sparked a heated debate, with fans and industry insiders alike weighing in on the situation. 'When will you people start showing respect to the members and him?' asked one fan. 'You're genuinely so embarrassing and it's been almost 4 months. Move on.'

As the fallout continues, it's clear that this is far from over. The question on everyone's mind is: what's next for ENHYPEN and EVAN?
