The Great Three-Point Showdown: Azzi Fudd Challenges Steph Curry

Azzi Fudd's impressive win at the 2026 WNBA All-Star three-point contest sent shockwaves throughout the basketball world, but perhaps no one was more thrilled than Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry. The two-time NBA champion and all-time three-point leader has long been regarded as one of the greatest shooters in the game, and Fudd's victory marked a historic moment for the WNBA as the first rookie to take home the title. With a final-round score of 30, Fudd outdueled her competition and proved herself a force to be reckoned with in the world of professional basketball.

When asked about the possibility of facing Curry in a three-point contest, Fudd wasted no time taking on the challenge, saying, "I mean, Steph, if you're listening, I've been asking for a rematch since high school. So maybe this is our time to figure out a time and place." The comment sent waves of excitement through the basketball community, with fans and pundits alike eager to see the showdown take place. While there is no bad blood between the two superstars, their rivalry is undoubtedly one for the ages, with Fudd's impressive win casting her as the underdog in the making.

The origin of their relationship dates back to Fudd's childhood, when she regularly attended Curry's basketball camps and had the opportunity to rub shoulders with the all-time great.
