When Lewis Hamilton first entered the world of F1, he was known for his iconic yellow-helmet design. One of his used helmets is now up for auction at RM Sotheby's, with a price tag that's considered a treasure.

Made by Arai, the helmet was used by Lewis Hamilton during the 2010 season with the Mclaren team. Its estimated value ranges from 80,000 to 120,000 Euro, which is equivalent to 1.5 to 2.3 billion Rupiah.

This helmet has a rich history, having been used only twice by Lewis Hamilton – during the 2010 Abu Dhabi GP and the 2011 Barcelona pre-season test.

After its retirement from racing, Lewis Hamilton gave the helmet to Jason Fowler, the designer responsible for his helmets during his time with Mclaren. Fowler kept the helmet until 2024 before partnering with RM Sotheby's to auction it off in Abu Dhabi early next month.

The helmet boasts a unique design reminiscent of Lewis Hamilton's early days in F1, featuring a predominantly yellow color scheme inspired by Ayrton Senna's helmets. The bright yellow is complemented by white, blue, and green accents.

This helmet is a piece of F1 history, having been used by Lewis Hamilton during his championship-winning season in 2008. Throughout his time with Mclaren, Lewis often sported unique helmet designs for specific races.

Now, Lewis Hamilton has returned to a yellow-helmet design during his stint with Ferrari this season, giving fans a nostalgic glimpse into his early days in F1.
