Bireuen, InfoPublik - The TNI AD through the Kodim 0111/Bireuen has completed the construction of the Aramco bridge in Desa Kukue, Kecamatan Peudada, Kabupaten Bireuen, Aceh. This was done to support community mobility and boost the regional economy.
Commander of Kodim 0111/Bireuen, Luthfi Novriadi said that the bridge is expected to greatly benefit the community in their daily activities as well as boost the regional economy.
“The bridge is expected to greatly benefit the community, both in supporting daily activities and in driving the growth of the economy in Peudada District,” he said in a press release, Saturday (5/16/2026).
The construction of the Aramco bridge was carried out through a communal effort between the personnel of the Kodim 0111/Bireuen and the local community, which made the construction process easier and faster.
According to Luthfi, the construction of the infrastructure represents the TNI's genuine concern for the basic needs of the community, particularly in opening up access to transportation in remote areas.
He emphasized that the presence of the bridge is crucial in addressing geographical isolation and accelerating the distribution of logistics and community activities.
Before the Aramco bridge was built, the community in the area faced difficulties when crossing due to relying on rickety and risky bamboo rafts.
The Aramco bridge has now become a symbol of the acceleration of infrastructure development as well as strengthening the unity between the TNI and the community in the westernmost part of Indonesia.
“The unity between the TNI and the people is the key to the successful completion of this project in a timely and targeted manner,” said Lt.Col. Luthfi.
