TV Star Opens Up About Cancer Battle

Jeremy Clarkson has recently shared his devastating health diagnosis on TV, revealing that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

The legendary TV star, best known for hosting Top Gear, shared the news on his reality TV series, Clarkson's Farm.

During the latest episodes, Clarkson, 66, shocks his castmates, farm manager Charlie Ireland and farm hand Kaleb Cooper, when he abruptly announces, 'I've got cancer.'

Cooper was in disbelief, responding with 'No, you haven't. Where?' to which Clarkson reveals, 'Where it is of no concern of anybody. I've known since May.'

Clarkson explained that he had taken time off filming and had tests done, resulting in a biopsy that confirmed he has cancer.

'I had a medical, you remember back in May,' Clarkson shared. 'I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it's aggressive, but it's really early so the treatment will be, you know.'

An emotional Cooper tells Clarkson to 'look after yourself' and 'if you need anything just ring.'

Clarkson then revealed that he will be undergoing surgery in the next few weeks and will likely be out of action as he recovers.

'Listen, I'm not daft, it's going to be in about two weeks, maybe three,' Clarkson said of his surgery. 'I'll have to go and have an operation and then, the operation is in and out in no time, but your body's out of action for a little while.'

After returning from his initial surgery, Clarkson revealed to Cooper that he had '10 per cent' of his prostate removed via ultrasound.

'The prostate, 10 per cent of it's dead,' Clarkson said. 'The 10 per cent where the cancer is.'
