UK's Prince George to Attend Eton College for Next Phase of Education

Prince George, the 12-year-old son of Prince William and Princess Catherine, will be taking a significant step in his educational journey by attending Eton College this fall.

For months, there has been speculation about where the young prince would continue his education, with some predicting he would follow in his mother's footsteps to Marlborough College.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that Prince George will indeed be joining Eton College from September, a decision that aligns with his family's history, as his father, Prince William, also attended the prestigious institution.

Eton College, founded in 1440 by King Henry VI, has a long history of educating Britain's future leaders, including former Prime Ministers such as Robert Walpole, David Cameron, and Boris Johnson. Prince George's uncle, Prince Harry, and his great-uncle, Earl Charles Spencer, are also among the school's notable alumni.

Currently, Prince George attends Lambrook, a private prep school in Berkshire, along with his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The family's decision for Prince George to attend Eton College marks an important milestone in his educational path.
