Vikings Strengthen Their Roster with TE Marshall Lang Signing

The Minnesota Vikings have announced the signing of TE Marshall Lang and DL Jahvaree Ritzie to their roster, signaling a strategic move to enhance their team's capabilities.

In a corresponding move, the Vikings have waived OT Caleb Etienne and DL Monkell Goodwine, making room for the new additions.

Marshall Lang, a 24-year-old tight end, initially signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent from Northwestern following the 2025 draft. He later joined the New England Patriots' practice squad before returning to the Seahawks' practice squad.

Lang's journey continued with another stint with the Seahawks, only to be released again in November 2025. He then rejoined the Patriots' practice squad on a futures deal but was waived once more after the 2026 draft.

Despite his professional journey, Lang has yet to make his NFL debut.

During his time at Northwestern, Lang appeared in 51 games, accumulating 48 receptions for 491 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his potential as a talented tight end.
