VVS Embarks on Independent Journey, Says Goodbye to Two Members Amid Structural Changes

VVS, a K-Pop group known for their edgy concept and provocative performances, has recently undergone a significant transformation. In a move to break free from the traditional Korean music system, the group has announced the departure of two members, Ilee and Jiu, amidst a shift towards independence under the guidance of producer Paul Thompson.

According to a recent video shared on VVS' YouTube channel, the group had been discussing their activities with Thompson, including changes to their structure. The video, titled '#007 - Independence Day,' features Thompson stating, 'Functioning in the Korean system wasn't the best way of going about things.' He emphasized that the group would remain a K-Pop group but would operate under a new, independent framework.

This change in structure was made to enable the group to expand their horizons, including venturing into the United States and other international markets. The decision to cancel their contracts and clear their debt was aimed at giving them the freedom to grow and explore new opportunities.

The departure of Ilee and Jiu was also a part of this restructuring process. Thompson officially announced Jiu's departure during the video, while Ilee's exit was confirmed due to her lack of interest in continuing within the new structure.

VVS has been in the news for their daring concept and other activities that have sparked controversy among fans. Their journey as independent artists marks a significant departure from the traditional K-Pop system, and it remains to be seen how this shift will impact their music and their fan base.

One thing is certain, though - VVS' decision to prioritize independence and self-expression is a bold move that could potentially pave the way for future artists seeking to break away from the constraints of the traditional music industry.

In an era where K-Pop groups are increasingly looking for unique ways to express themselves and connect with fans, VVS' journey towards independence is a testament to the evolving nature of the music industry. Will this brave move bring them even more success, or will it create new challenges for the group to overcome? Only time will tell.

We wish Ilee, Jiu, and VVS the best in their future endeavors. The question remains - what's next for this bold new chapter in VVS' musical journey?

The K-Pop landscape is constantly evolving, with groups pushing the boundaries of creativity and expression. Will VVS pave the way for others to follow, or will its decision to go independent mark a significant departure from the conventional path?

One thing is clear - with VVS' determination to break free from conventional constraints, the possibility of innovation and success in the music industry is endless.

As we welcome this new chapter in VVS' journey, we can't help but wonder what other surprises this edgy K-Pop group has in store for fans.
