Legendary musician Kenny Loggins recently visited The Tonight Show, bringing his greatest hits to life with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, all performed on an array of fun classroom instruments. The highlight of the performance came when actor Kevin Bacon joined in for an energetic rendition of the iconic hit 'Footloose.'
The lively performance featured a playful mix of toy guitars, xylophones, and kazoos, treating the audience to lively versions of 'I'm Alright,' 'Danger Zone,' 'Footloose,' and 'Celebrate Me Home.'
Adding a touch of humor, John Lithgow appeared in character as Reverend Shaw Moore from 'Footloose,' humorously objecting to the music's legality. Kevin Bacon, in turn, playfully responded in character, encouraging everyone to dance.
Loggins has a strong history of contributing hit songs to major films, including 'Danger Zone' for the 1980s classic 'Top Gun.' The film celebrated its 40th anniversary this year.
Earlier this year, Loggins was announced as a distinguished inductee into the Songwriters Hall of Fame class of 2026. He will be honored alongside other music luminaries such as Taylor Swift, Alanis Morissette, and more during the induction ceremony in New York City.
