World Cup 2026: Vladimir Petkovic Has a Plan to Take on Argentina

The 2026 World Cup is just around the corner, and Algeria's coach Vladimir Petkovic is confident in his team's abilities. In a recent statement, Petkovic mentioned that he has prepared two plans to take on the defending champions, Argentina.

Algeria is coming into the World Cup with a strong sense of confidence, having won their recent matches against the Netherlands and Bolivia. The team is determined to make a statement and leave their mark on the tournament. As Petkovic stated, 'We respect Argentina immensely, they are one of the favorites and the current title holders, but we are here to compete, not just make an appearance.'

Petkovic acknowledges that Argentina will be a tough opponent, but he believes his team has what it takes to create an upset. 'I have prepared a plan A and a plan B, and we will be ready to respond to whatever Argentina throws at us,' he said. The match is expected to be intense, but Petkovic remains optimistic about his team's chances.
