World Cup Predictions: Brazil vs Morocco, Haiti vs Scotland and More

Welcome to The Athletic's daily World Cup predictions, where our experts, Algo, and subscribers come together to forecast the outcomes of each match.

Today, we have four exciting games to look forward to: Qatar vs Switzerland, Brazil vs Morocco, Haiti vs Scotland, and Australia vs Turkey.

Our experts have analyzed the teams, players, and statistics to provide you with the most accurate predictions. Let's take a look at each game and see who's likely to come out on top.

First up, Qatar vs Switzerland. The Athletic Expert says, 'The hosts from four years ago will be looking to be much improved from their disappointing group-stage exit where they lost all three games.' Switzerland, on the other hand, arrive off the back of a strong qualification campaign and are favorites to win.

Next, we have Brazil vs Morocco. This game has the potential to be a classic early group-stage shock, with Morocco being a good side that can cause Brazil problems if they start slowly.

Haiti vs Scotland is another exciting match, with Scotland looking to win their first World Cup game since 1998. The Athletic Expert says, 'This is a fixture they must win given the strength of the group they are in.'

Finally, we have Australia vs Turkey. Turkey have talent but lack an out-and-out goalscorer, so if Australia can frustrate, it could open up all three results as a possibility.

The Athletic Experts say, 'If you haven't been told that Turkey could be the dark horses in the tournament, then you aren't doing the World Cup right.' Regardless of how good or bad they are, they always come up in that discussion before a major tournament.
