The Aramco Bridge in Nias North Province has been completed with its physical specifications including a length of 8 meters and a width of 3 meters. The completion of this public facility project has facilitated the mobility of local residents who have longed for safe and adequate land transportation.
The completion of this large-scale project is part of the TNI AD's Karya Bakti Program in 2026. The main focus of this military social activity is to accelerate the development of public facilities in isolated and underdeveloped areas.
The existence of this crossing facility is expected to open up wider avenues for progress for local residents. The long-term benefits will be felt in supporting the rotation of the people's economy, making it easier for children to go to school, and speeding up access to healthcare facilities.
During the field work process, this physical project involved collaboration between personnel from Kodim 0213/Nias, Yon TP 905, and soldiers from Yonzipur 1/DD. The solid cooperation among military units was the key to completing the bridge on schedule according to the work calendar.
This strategic step has kept pace with the main instruction from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. The head of state has continued to encourage the acceleration of public facility development in peripheral areas as a concrete solution to boost the living standards and welfare of the broader community.
Through the Karya Bakti TNI AD platform, the government and the military have joined forces to bring about a development program that directly addresses the daily needs of remote residents who have limited access.
Commander of I/Bukit Barisan, Colonel Infantry Sandy, S.I.P., emphasized that the construction of this building serves as a genuine testament to the Indonesian military's dedication to supporting regional development programs. He hopes that the connectivity between Desa Holi will become even smoother and bring financial benefits to local residents.
