Boston Opens Up the World Cup Experience to Residents

The city of Boston is thrilled to announce that it will provide over 500 free World Cup tickets to its residents, making the FIFA World Cup experience more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

In partnership with the Boston Host Committee, the city aims to share the excitement of the tournament with its young people and community members. To achieve this, local soccer and youth organizations will help distribute the tickets.

Mayor Michelle Wu said, 'As Boston hosts visitors and fans from all around the world this summer, we are proud to partner in ensuring that this extraordinary moment of World Cup excitement is shared by Boston’s young people and community members too.'

If you're not lucky enough to get a ticket, don't worry! The city's FIFA Fan Festival is open to everyone, offering a free and fun experience to celebrate the World Cup at Boston City Hall Plaza. Expect daily match broadcasts, local food vendors, performances, and interactive opportunities.
