June 15, 2026 - Residents in Stevenson Ranch are facing a daunting reality as the Max Fire continues to encroach on the area, forcing evacuations in its path.
According to reports, the fire started around 4:30 p.m. near Magnolia Lane and Autumn Place, with initial estimates suggesting it was approximately 3 to 4 acres in size. However, within a short period, the fire had grown to at least 45 acres, prompting the Los Angeles County Fire Department to activate additional resources for structure protection.
As the fire continues to spread, evacuation orders have been issued for Zone STV-PICO, with residents advised to gather their family, pets, and leave the area immediately. A Shelter-In-Place Order has been issued for Zone STV-Pico, with residents advised to bring all people and pets indoors, remain indoors with doors and windows closed, and be prepared to follow law and fire instructions.
The fire has been upgraded to a Second Alarm Fire, with multiple updates being shared by the Los Angeles County Fire Department. At present, no official information on injuries or fatalities has been reported.
