Central Pa. Hours: What's Open and Closed on Juneteenth 2026

As Juneteenth 2026 approaches, you may be wondering what's open or closed in central Pennsylvania. Here's a rundown of business hours and attractions to help you plan your day.

Major banks and government offices will be closed on Monday, June 19th, while grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants are expected to operate under normal hours. Post offices, too, will be closed, which means no mail delivery or pickups on that day.

Some attractions and tourist spots might adjust their hours to coincide with the holiday. It's a good idea to call ahead or check social media accounts before heading out. Many organizations use Juneteenth as an opportunity to hold events and celebrations.
