History Comes to Life: Actor Vincent Cassel Brings Napoleon to Life in New Video Game

French actor Vincent Cassel makes a significant entrance in the world of gaming as he voices none other than Napoleon Bonaparte in the highly anticipated game Valor Mortis.

Cassel, known for his versatile performances in Black Swan, Ocean's Twelve, La Haine, and Tekken 8, brings to life the iconic leader who once dominated the European continent.

We discovered that Cassel is a passionate gamer from his youth, frequently playing games like SSX Tricky and Kelly Slater Pro Surfer. His unique connection to the role of Napoleon, combined with his Corsican heritage from his mother, made him the perfect fit for this iconic role.

But Valor Mortis is more than just a historical reenactment. The game transports players to a supernatural version of 19th-century Europe, where they take on the role of William, a soldier who returns from the dead with the ability to wield both ancient and occult powers.

Developed by One More Level and edited by Lyrical Games, Valor Mortis is set to release on September 24th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC via Steam.
