TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Isack Hadjar, the Formula 2 runner-up, is set to take his career to the next level by making his debut in the Formula 1 championship with Red Bull in 2025. According to a report on the Formula 1 website on Friday, December 27, 2024, Hadjar has advanced to the premier class after showing impressive performance in his second season in F2 this year, as cited by Antara.
He finished second behind Gabriel Bortoleto, who will also join Sauber in the premier class. 'His journey to F1 has been truly exceptional. He has shown incredible growth, with a string of impressive results in junior single-seater classes,' said Red Bull Junior Team Principal Laurent Mekies. Isack Hadjar will join Yuki Tsunoda as his teammate at Red Bull after Sergio Perez left the team and Liam Lawson took his place.
